Hi! My name is Ivy Murph, and I’m a senior at Texas State University. I’m pursuing a degree in advertising with a minor in psychology. I’m interested in using my degree to become a creative director or brand strategist. I’ve always had an interest in all forms of media and communication, and I’m excited to grow and expand my knowledge on this trip! A few of my hobbies are practicing Pilates, cooking and painting.
I am most excited to immerse myself in Japanese culture by talking to Japanese university students, experiencing a tea ceremony and baseball game, trying Japanese food like sushi, ramen and fluffy desserts, and seeing all of the beautiful architecture both modern and traditional.
