Hi! My name is Kimberly Garza. I am a senior at Texas State University majoring in public relations with a minor in business administration. I was born and raised in Mission, Texas, and I am thrilled to be taking part in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication study abroad program in Japan. As I share my experiences with everyone, I look forward to strengthening my communication skills.
Japan’s diverse culture, delicious food and beautiful sights excite me. Exploring Japan with my peers will be amazing! I believe Japan’s rich culture and media landscape will help me grow personally and academically. I can’t wait to meet new people – both students and professionals – and fully immerse myself in Japan’s lively atmosphere.
