My name is Elise Kadison, and I am a digital media innovation student at Texas State University. This is my first study abroad program and my first trip to Japan! During this program, my fellow students and I will document our experience through this blog, feature stories, Instagram posts and travel essays.
I am very excited to have this opportunity to immerse myself in this amazing culture. Japan has always been on my bucket list of places to visit, and now I get to cross it off! I can’t wait to try authentic Japanese cuisine, participate in a tea ceremony and learn about the local temples.
I recently changed my major to digital media innovation, so this will be my second semester taking these classes. I’m interested in learning more about media and how to make your content go viral. I’m also enthusiastic about improving my photography and videography skills! I’m excited about the growth I will experience on this life-changing adventure!
