Hello everyone! My name is Patrick Scoulios, and I’m a senior majoring in electronic media with a minor in media studies at Texas State University. I am super excited for the opportunity to travel to Japan. This will be my first time going overseas, so I can’t wait to experience the culture in person.
I have always been fascinated by Japan’s big cities and advanced technologies. I’m also a big fan of Sony, Nintendo and Studio Ghibli films. While in Japan, I am really looking forward to exploring the cities of Tokyo, Hiroshima and Kyoto, as well as experiencing a baseball game, trying new foods and pushing myself outside my comfort zone. I am also looking forward to getting experience with content creation and media writing for this class. I plan to use these skills to further add to my portfolio and resume.
