Hey, Bobcats! I am Evan Luna, and I am super excited to be a part of the SJMC team! I can’t wait to really explore Japanese culture, art, food and rich history! I am especially interested in learning more about Japan’s deep history in film and TV. During this trip I hope to learn more about the news and TV scene of Japan and how everything really works behind the scenes!
I am a freshman going into sophomore year as an electronic media major. I am from Wimberley, Texas, which is about 20 minutes from campus. In my free time, I write stories and make up ideas to hopefully bring to a studio one day! After college, I hope to land a job somewhere big in the film industry working with cameras, writing and eventually directing my own projects.
