My name is Fayth Walsh, and I am a journalism senior from Katy, Texas. A fun fact about me is that I come from a military family and was actually born on a base in Oklahoma. A couple places I’ve lived before are Colorado and Hawaii, so I’ve traveled a bit throughout the United States.
I aspire to eventually become an author for my own series but for now would love to work in a communication department for ideally a creative company. I really want to be a part of either the dance, art, or music industry where I can deal with the communication aspects of those departments. What I’m looking forward to the most in Japan is being able to see a different type of culture in person. I’ve always really loved the music and art aspects of Japan, so I’m really excited to be able to appreciate it in person.
I’ve never traveled outside the United States before so I really want this opportunity. This program allows me that chance to not only go and travel somewhere I’ve never been before but to also build my portfolio as a communication major. I’m more than thrilled to be able to have this chance to experience something different and unique.
