Hello! My name is Mia Saucedo, and I am a rising senior majoring in digital media innovation. I am from The Woodlands, a suburb north of Houston. Entering my final year, I am sad my time at Texas State is coming to an end, but I am very excited for what the future holds for me.
I love online media and visual storytelling and hope to go into digital or social media marketing post-grad. Eventually, I hope to attend law school with a focus in copyright and intellectual property.
I have never flown overseas, so this opportunity to experience education abroad is amazing in and of itself. I am mostly looking forward to the tea ceremony in Kyoto, as I love experiencing different cultures’ practices and traditions firsthand. I am super excited to try all the food Japan has to offer! I am a slightly picky eater, but I am hoping this trip helps me expand my palate.
