Hi, I’m Christina, and I am from San Antonio, Texas. I recently graduated from Texas State University with a degree in communication studies, concentrating in public relations. I am continuing my education at Texas State as a graduate student in communication this fall.
My interest in Japan grew naturally through my deep love of Korean and Japanese pop culture, music, entertainment and digital media, which has also shaped the kind of PR career I want to build. I’m fascinated by how global entertainment brands communicate across cultures, and studying abroad in Japan is something I’ve been looking forward to as a way to experience that firsthand.
When I’m not in class or studying, I’m running social media, attending concerts and dreaming about a career in entertainment PR. I’m looking forward to everything this program has to offer.
