Hi! My name is Felicity and I am a junior at Texas State University majoring in journalism and minoring in communication studies. I am from Corpus Christi, Texas, and this will be my first time traveling internationally! In my free time, I do some photography for Texas State’s student newspaper, The University Star, as well as personal photography. I also love going to live music events and concerts in my free time and have seen artists like Dominic Fike, Post Malone, SZA, and more. I love astrology, and I am a Cancer sun sign, which is why my favorite season is summer (particularly, in July when I was born)! I am also not a morning person, and I am absolutely a night owl. My favorite fact I love to share about me is that I have a pet dog named Oso who is 2 years old! He is a Leo sun sign.
I am super excited for the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC) trip to Japan, and to learn and observe Japanese culture and traditions! I am a fan of anime and Japanese authors, so I am very excited for the arts and pop culture aspects of Japan. I also love cherry blossoms (hanami)!
