Hello, my name is Berkelee Bryan, and I am a junior at Texas State University, majoring in digital media innovation. I’m originally from Odessa, Texas, but I moved out here to Central Texas when I was 14 years old! My career aspirations include working for a beauty company, possibly in web development or digital media/data analytics; although I’m still exploring different roles and interests!
I’ve traveled out of the country a couple of times in my life. When I was 13, my family and I visited Paris, France, and on that trip we took a train to London, England! In 2024, I also had the opportunity to go back to England for the London and Cambridge study abroad program here at Texas State! These trips ignited my desire to travel globally and have new experiences. When the opportunity to study abroad in Japan arose, I knew I had to pursue it.
There are so many things I’m looking forward to by visiting Japan. I’m so excited to learn about the history and to see Japan’s nature as well as Tokyo’s city life. I am also looking forward to immersing myself in the culture and traditions. I also can’t wait to shop and eat their food!
